Another thing that frustrates me about Windows is there doesn't seem to be a way to quickly change the input method in the language bar. In other words, on Mac, I can just hit a hot key (command-shift-something I think) and the input style will change to hiragana, katakana, romanji. Windows doesn't seem to have any convenience.
If anyone knows how to do this please let me know.

I can't figure out encoding in Firefox or, now, Chrome. I always end up using IE to do Chinese (horrid!), and I'm assuming I'm going to have the same problem with Japanese.
